Break in new 650ccm engine, as follows:
1. Remove existing oil
2. Fill up with 2.5 liters of inexpensive 15w40 oil
3. Drive motorcycle carefully and slowly for 100 kilometers
4. After 100 kilometers, remove dirty oil and dispose of properly
5. Remove and clean the following:
a. oilbox (oil sump)
b. cylinder head cover
6. Fill up with 2.5 liters of inexpensive 15w40 oil
7. Drive motorcycle carefully and slowly for 500 kilometers
8. After 500 kilometers, repeat steps 5 through 7 until an additional 2000 kilometers have been accumulated
9. Following an additional 2000 the break-in period is complete
10. Repeat steps 5 and 6, with the following exceptions/additions:
a. Add 500ccm of slick50 or similar oil additive (optional)
b. Add 2 liters (2.5 liters if skipping step 10.a) of Valvoline or Castrol 15w40 (or 20w50 for hot climates)
11. Continue to change oil every 1000 to 1500 kilometers
